How to Clean A Mysterious Stain Out of Grout Lines

One day you go into your bathroom and you notice dark stains on part of your bathroom floor’s grout lines. What is this? Where did it come from? Sometimes, stains happen. Whether we did it and didn’t know, someone else did or an accident occurred, the stained happened. It could be old or new, but it’s there. We may never find out what the stain is…but we want to get rid of it.

Well with Grout Shield’s grout products, it doesn’t matter what kind of stain it is. Our grout products can lift out any stain and make your grout look new.

Most DIY cleaning articles may tell you to clean your grout lines with bleach, ammonia or white vinegar. These chemicals and products may work, but they also aren’t really cleaning the grout. Many of these chemicals can cause the grout to crack or break.

To clean grout, you will want to use Grout Shield’s Grout & Tile Deep Cleaner, which cleans and lifts deep and hard-to-clean stains out of the grout’s pores, whether it’s a new or old stain.

To use this cleaner, mix 1 ounce of the cleaner with 8 ounces of warm water. Then, brush the cleaner into the grout with a brush applicator. Let the mixture sit into the grout lines for a few minutes. Then, wipe away the cleaner with a sponge and towel dry the floor. The discoloration will be gone.

Now, if the stain won’t fully go away, you can make the grout color look like new again with Grout Shield’s color sealer. You just squeeze the sealer into the grout lines. Then, spread it into the grout lines with a brush applicator or your finger and wipe away the excess with a towel or chamois. You can choose any color in the world to recolor your grout. Check out our grout colors. If you don’t match your grout color and choose a brand new color, you can transform the look of your room.

If you don’t need to recolor your grout, you should still seal it with a clear grout sealer to protect it from future stains. If all your grout lines are properly sealed, you won’t have to worry about finding any moe mysterious stains.
